The Polish chicken is best known for its large, unique crest. The history of this breed is obscure, as Polish chickens did not originate in Poland, but more likely were brought from Spain to other parts of the world.
While not an approved color variety by the American Poultry Association, the Candy Corn Polish is beautiful and very unique. They are a medium sized, crested chicken that sports gold, white and black barring. This color variety does breed true, but some color variations may occur.
Polish chickens are excellent layers of medium sized, white eggs. Hens rarely go broody. Candy Corn Polish are sure to be an exotic addition any flock.
